Minecraft Edu - Mission to Mars
Students in our Senior School have been involved in a large Science based exploration and data collection project in Minecraft. We have called this; Minecraft, Mission to Mars.

Minecraft is an innovative game which allows users to build structures within it's world with a variety of different blocks. Another way to think of Minecraft is as a virtual lego set with an infinite number of blocks and space at your disposal.

For this project, students were required to work together in teams of four to research living conditions and survivability on Mars. They then had to pack all the necessary survival items and building materials into their rocket in Minecraft. Shortly after teams launched their rockets and began setting up sustainable colonies on Mars!
